Hera
Kate-Walsh-Biography.jpg

Hera is the Queen of the gods. She is the sister-wife to Zeus, and is also a child of Kronos and Rhea. She is the goddess of marriage, women, childbirth, empires, kings, and heirs. Her symbols include the diadem, the peacock, the lotus-staff and the pomegranate.

Hera is a very polarizing figure, but there is one thing above all else when it comes to this Goddess – the appearance of a happy, healthy family. And she can be ruthless when it comes to preserving such an image, almost eerily and scarily so. But this is most likely a positive if you happen to be part of the family at the very least. She is famous for her fidelity to Zeus, and her extreme fits of anger when Zeus isn’t quite a faithful back. Hell hath no fury like Hera scorned, most of Zeus’ lovers have found out by now. She is matronly, but in a very regal, royal fashion. She is a goddess of civilization.

Hera has no demigod children, and never will. All of her children are with Zeus, and as a result, are full-fledged gods upon birth.
